How do I add rewards/incentives to a brief?

Rewards can be added during the brief setup process to encourage participation and improve response rates.

When creating your brief:

• Navigate to the Launch Session section under your brief
• Click Reward Center
• Set up your reward

Key Points for reward set up:

• ✅ Always set up incentives before launching your brief. Adding rewards after the brief is live may result in users not being paid correctly.
• ✅ Select the correct Channel and Country. An incorrect setup can prevent rewards from being issued.
• ✅ Use one reward per project. If you need more budget, increase the Total Units on the existing reward — do not create a new reward for the same brief.
• ✅ Add a small buffer to the Total Units (where appropriate) to ensure additional responses received before the brief closes can still be rewarded.
• ✅ If rewarding completion of multiple briefs, create one reward only and link all required briefs under the Requirements section. Do not create separate rewards for each brief, as this may result in duplicate payments.
• ✅ Always verify that the reward is linked to the correct brief(s) before launching by checking the reward indicator in MyBulbshare.
• 🚨 Never delete or remove an existing reward that has already been used or has funds allocated to it.
• 🚨 If you need to stop paying users on a live or previously incentivised brief, do not modify or remove the reward yourself. Please contact the Support Team, who will advise on the correct approach and make any required changes.
• 🚨 If a reward has been linked to the wrong brief, do not delete it or create a replacement. Contact the Support Team so the reward can be corrected following the appropriate process.
• 🆘 If you discover any reward issue after launch (missing incentive, incorrect setup, users not receiving payments, etc.), raise a Support Request as soon as possible so the team can investigate and ensure eligible participants receive the correct rewards.
