A brief can close automatically for one or more of the following reasons:
- It reached its end date
- It reached the required number of responses
It reached the reward limit (if a reward is applied)
End Date Reached
If the brief needs to remain live for longer, you can update the end date:
- Go to my.bulbshare.com
- Locate the relevant brief
- Click the three dots (⋯) and select Edit
- Go to the Launch section
- Set a new end date
- Save your changes - click "Publish"
Required Responses Reached
If the brief needs to remain live to collect more responses, you can update the "Required responses" set up
- Go to my.bulbshare.com
- Locate the relevant brief
- Click the three dots (⋯) and select Edit
Update required responses:
- Go to the Audience section
- Increase the Required responses number
- Save your changes - click "Publish"
Update end date:
- Go to the Launch section
- Set a new end date
- Save your changes - click "Publish"
IMPORTANT:
- Both steps are required
- The system automatically sets an end date when the response limit is reached and brief closed
Reward Limit Reached
If a reward is applied, the brief will close once the total reward budget is used.
To continue collecting responses, update the reward and end date:
- Go to my.bulbshare.com
- Locate the relevant brief
Click the reward icon next to the brief
- Click on the reward message - this will open the reward settings
Update reward budget:
Increase Total Units
- Total units = This is the reward budget set up for this activity as a TOTAL in GBP - not for one response. Once the reward budget is fully used, brief will close (as there is no money left to be given to the participants).
- Click "Save"
Update end date:
- Go to the Launch section
- Set a new end date
- Save your changes - click "Publish"
IMPORTANT:
- Both steps are required
- The brief closes when the reward budget is fully used
The system will automatically set an end date when this happens
